ABOUT THE BOOK
A story that asks what goodness costs us—and whether it is worth keeping.
Sachin was never meant to survive the world as he is—soft where it demands hardness, kind where it rewards cruelty.Yet, as a son, a friend, and a brother, he continues to give. Again and again. Even to those who break him.No More Goodness Please is not simply a story about a kind man. It is an exploration of what happens when kindness, sacrifice, love, and silence become deeply intertwined with the lives of those around us.Sachin’s journey takes readers into the fragile spaces of human relationships, where love can heal and hurt, where silence can speak louder than words, and where doing the right thing is not always rewarded. His story is not one of weakness. It is about a rare, defiant strength—the courage to remain gentle when everything around you tells you to become hard.As the story unfolds, readers are drawn into the minds and emotions of multiple characters, discovering how every person carries their own wounds, motivations, perceptions, and truths. And perhaps, by the end, one question will remain:
How much goodness can a person give before they begin to lose themselves?

THE WORLD OF THE STORY
At the heart of No More Goodness Please lies a simple yet powerful idea:
We rarely know the complete story of another person.
What appears to be kindness to one person may feel like sacrifice to another.
What looks like silence may hide years of emotion.
What appears to be strength may come from unimaginable pain.
Through multiple characters and their interconnected lives, Shivani explores these contradictions and creates a world where readers are encouraged to pause before judging.
Discover a story of kindness, relationships, emotional conflict, and the complicated beauty of being human.
